Seriously … somebody’s gonna need to pinch me because this week we’re down to the Top 3 in Blogger Idol. Wait! What??
I’m in the Blogger Idol Top 3!!
Holy shit on a stick! I just can’t believe it! This is so exciting I think I might be dreaming!!
Speaking of dreaming … last week I wrote about the apocalypse. It was creepy, but between my zombie and your votes, I had the High Score!! Woooohooooo!!!
This week I’m switching gears from creepy to peppy, kind of. Our assignment was to write about a lesson we learned in high school. I thought about Mr. Riley and his Excited Atoms and I considered Profe with his fun lessons and songs about Verbos Irregulares en el Subjuntivo. (Irregular Subjunctive Verbs … he made them fun, somehow.)
But I decided to go a different route. Whew! No Spanish grammar lesson!! 😉
Here’s a fun little jaunt down memory lane to my freshman year in junior high … and it’s a hint about this week’s post:
I hope you’re feeling down with cheering for me, because I have to tell you–of the three of us left in the competition, I’ve been pulling the fewest votes. That means we need to rally all the troops and get every vote possible.
Remember, you get one vote per IP address. That means you can vote once from your home computer (and from work–if you’re allowed), your smart phone, your spouse’s and kids’ phones, your neighbor’s computer and phone … anything and everything that can get you to the internet until 11:59 p.m. CST on Thursday, December 12th.
To vote, go to blogger-idol.com by clicking HERE. Scroll down to the little blue ballot box, mark Real Life Parenting and VOTE!!
To help keep me safe this round and boost me into the Finale next week, it would be A-W-E-S-O-M-E if you’d click on a few of those little sharing buttons below to help spread the word and ask your friends, family and co-workers if they’d take a few seconds to help the underdog take the title of Blogger Idol!!
